Superheroine Battle Arena – Domination, part 9

METROCITY

Commissioner X Office

“What the hell is going on in my league??” yelled Charles Black. His assistant, Mr. Smith shrugged his shoulders and went back to his tablet. Immediately after the match the Dark Dominatrix disappeared with Emerald. Security searched for them throughout the arena and couldn’t find a trace of them. Then, two hours later, Emerald showed up in the cafeteria as if nothing had happened. She refused to file a complaint against the Dominatrix and when questioned about what happened she just said it was none of your damn business.

“This Haitian woman has been calling all the shots. Her PR numbers are through the roof, she has the media eating out of her hand. It seems like every match over the last month has been arranged by her, and now even when she loses…”

“She somehow still wins.” Molly interrupted his tirade. “I warned you. The Domme is not just a villainess, she’s pure evil.”

“Nobody likes an ‘I told you so’, Blondie.”

“But I did tell you so!”

The Commissioner glared at her. “Fine. You told me. Ok, Chickfighter, she’s your enemy. Tell me what we’re up against.”

“She’s some kind of creepy voodoo wrestling priestess. She gets off on humiliating heroines, making them into slaves.” Molly hesitated. “But she’s never been this powerful before. She’s stronger than she’s ever been. Not that that’s going to stop me from kicking her ass!”

“I know, I know. You want her.”

“But I can’t fight her if our fight schedules keep alternating! You have to do something to get me in the ring with her!”

Commissioner X weighed his options. “Alright, Chicky. You take a break this week, then the following week I’ll put the two of you in the ring. P.R. monkeys be damned, I’m still in charge here!”

“Yes! Thank you, Commissioner! I’ll beat her evil plan right out of her!”

BUENOS HADES

When Jade Detective emerged from the Crossroads still carrying Tamara he found they were in the most poverty- and crime-stricken city in South America. But at least he managed to find a broken down, decrepit hospital with an actual nurse or two. He let the woman rest as he peered intently at her through the eyes of his demon mask.

He filtered out all the spiritual matter and ethereal residue to see anything that originated from this world. Traces of water with petroleum contaminants matching the commercial ports in Metrocity. That was close to the area she was likely abducted. He looked at her body’s aura and winced at the physical and mental damage that was done to her recently.

There were still some hallucinogens in her blood and trauma to the face and throat indicating she was force fed. Someone, someone experienced, had done a very thorough job of breaking her.

He had already checked in with The Tower to let them know he had her. But now he needed some answers that only she could provide. His jade mask glowed briefly and the walls around him melted away as he fell from the hospital in Buenos Hades into the dreams of Tamara Jones.

METROCITY

Valerie lay on the ground of her inner sanctum covered in sweat. After her match, she had brought Emerald here and dragged her before the portal to the Realm of Madness. Shadowy tentacles seized the green woman and pummeled her brutally. The attack lasted for over an hour, until Emerald could not fight or think. Until the last of her strength faded. Only then did inky blackness cover her eyes for a second indicating that she was now enslaved.

Val thought that she would gain even more power for her gift, but instead she was immediately wracked with pain and driven to her knees. A deafening chorus of angry whispers seared through her brain in something that was not speech, but she somehow understood.

It was her responsibility to break the spirits of these super-powered women. Emerald was not a gift to Cthulhu.

Cthulhu was angry for being forced to do the work she should have done.

And the ancient creature punished her for it.

“I will heal. I will enslave another woman, a proper gift for the Dark One. The Russian woman… I will have her…” The Domme lost consciousness and something writhed and rumbled on the far side of the portal.
